Issues to Do in Yosemite Valley with Children

Issues to Do in Yosemite with Children / Yosemite Household Trip: For our household summer time trip, we spent per week in Yosemite Valley. We (1) earned a Junior Ranger Badge, (2) visited the gorgeous waterfalls (Bridalveil Fall, Decrease Yosemite Fall, Vernal Fall and Nevada Fall), (3) rode our bikes / scooters, (4) had enjoyable tenting on the Higher Pines Campground, (5) took scenic drives (Tunnel View, Glacier Level, and the Mariposa Groves), hiked lovely trails (Mirror Lake and Cook dinner’s Meadow Loop), and (6) performed in and tubed down the Merced River. We couldn’t have had extra enjoyable! Thanks for watching.

  1. I loved watching your little family having fun camping at Yosemite. It makes me miss camping with my kids when they were little. These times are the happiest times.

  2. Really enjoyed the video! If I may ask several questions related to Merced River, did you bring your own raft? I read that you put in at Stoneman Bridge and take out at Sentinel Beach Picnic Area. Did you then walk back to where you started/parked with the deflated rafts? If a shuttle was available, you could get on with your deflated raft. But no shuttles during Covid-19 right? Just trying to figure out the logistics. You know, parents 🙂

  3. Thank you for sharing your family’s vacation at Yosemite. Truly looked like everyone had a wonderful time and “Bravo” to the parents on organizing such a breathtaking journey. Great activities for all…wow!
My Twin Brother & I are going there in late May, before the holiday, but it probably will be a bit crowded compared to your trip. Thanks again!
    Happy Trails!

  4. Beautiful family. I also have a large family that I take out all the time, 3 boys and one girl. We just came back from Orlando it was a blast and first time on a plane for the kids. We have done road trips to sequoia, Ensenada, San Felipe and currently planning a trip to Sonora. Keep up the great videos.

  5. Tubing the Merced through Yosemite with the whole family… man it doesn’t get any better.

We live close to the park but have never been. Getting ready for a trip next week and I really enjoyed watching your video. 👍🏻
