I did the same with mine also.I made one with removable parts first for use at home and another one for on the go without removable parts.I attached movable parts with ribbon to the book page so that they are not lost at church etc

This is so simple but interactive! I like it. I just started making these but my problem is that here in Brasil we only have soft felt, which needs to be treated to make it stiff, a lot of work but I am LOVING the creative process.
