Very helpful! We are planning our first trip to San Diego in a couple of months. I’m curious if you recommend renting a car or if there is public transportation that goes to at least a handful of these areas? Some look fairly spread out so a car looks like it would be helpful but I’m sure parking fees are pretty high in town.

The Cove and Sea lions are Neat too !So much fun options – I would love to go to the La Jolla Cove and the Botanical Gardens, but my grandkids would probably love the Legoland park and hotel.
