  1. lemme tell you , it's a trip seeing this POV as an adult bc i was THIS kid and honestly i never felt like "overwhelmed." neither did my step sister or my cousins. for whatever reason we found it fun , easy , or interesting.
we had school , after school on Tuesdays was cheerleading. After school on Wednesdays was dance (at school). Thursday was math-club. Friday was dance ( at school. ) Saturday was dance -at our local dance school. All on the same day was ballet, tap, jazz and if you were 13+ hawaiian.
Sunday was i guess our rest day ( after we did our O2 chores ) and the week started over again 🤷🏽‍♀️ we just were used to it.

  2. That’s crazy for kids that young. If he’s not even starting homework til 8pm he basically has no life beyond school, after school activities, homework, bed. Kids need time to be kids.

I did homework until 9 and 10pm sometimes in high school AP classes and all the time in college. But that’s college. Not elementary school. When I was that age I had drama club and soccer but that was it. It kept me plenty busy.
