Hi All, just returned from a back to back California Coastal and Mexican Riviera cruises on the Ruby Princess. Talking about "mystery" areas, we took the "Ultimate Ship Tour" on the last sea day of the MR cruise. Got to see a lot of the behind the scenes areas of the ship including the Engine Control Room and the Bridge. What an experience!

I wasin Allure of the seas and I hated it. Not impressed at all and I couldn't wait to get off the ship. Worst cruise ever. Been in 15 cruises.

We're cruising the Mediterranean next year and I've been looking around for flights to Europe. Usually I buy Y class tickets on Delta and use my miles to upgrade, but since Delta has changed the way they do things it's getting hard to do that. We prefer flying business class so I googled "business class flights to Amsterdam" and a site came up called "cheapbizflights", or something like that. Long story short, *** said he could get me Delta One tickets for $3500.00 RT each, which is half the price that Delta charges. Have you ever used a company like this and are they for real or is this a scam? $7,000.00 is a great deal of money and I don't want to be scammed, but if they can really do this, with no repercussions, it sounds like a great deal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Funny with the pens! I now just throw the pens, usually two, from our sailaway hotel in my carry on bag. I think I have enough for half a plane. They do seem to be going away from that process now. You can fill it out online for entry into Aruba now and get in a separate line. Leaving Aruba last year, no form was required, a kiosk instead and they did not have us fill out forms arriving in Port Miami in August unless we had more than the allowed limit of imported goods. Enjoy the canal!

Do you know where the best spot to be on the ship during sailaway? We've been on the pool deck, our balcony, and I think the front of the ship by the helicopter landing pad too. Just wondering about any other good spots.
