  1. While in Ketchikan Alaska, visit Ketchi-candies.  Their sweets are amazing!!!!  In Juneau, visit Tracy's King Crab Shack. Another must visit.  I loved the cruise to Alaska (special to me since it was my first cruise ever) and I cannot wait to go back.  🙂

  2. Hi Sherri! So glad you asked what we got from “Santa” aka Amazon for our cruise to Alaska in June 2018. My husband and I both got battery pack phone cases for our iPhones. My husband also got a gimble that works with both the Go Pro and iPhone. We also got 6 rechargeable two way radios that have a 2-4 km range, ear piece with microphone, belt clips and charging stations. We also got Bluetooth noise cancelling ear buds for the flights out and back, binoculars, gloves, and a sleep mask for the nearly 21 hours of daylight that everyone has told us that we are going to experience. The best news is that all of the aforementioned products were purchased from Amazon. Hope this helps you build your marketplace even more on Amazon. Good luck!

  3. Hi Sheri! I got the most incredible gift for Christmas this year from my boyfriend, he will be taking me on my very first cruise in March 2017! I am beyond excited, as it is my first time and have wanted to go for the longest. We are taking a 6 day cruise on Princess Caribbean in a balcony room! He has gone on a few cruises himself. So, I was wondering if you could give me some tips on the ports we will be docking in and things to do. We are leaving from Ft. Lauderdale and stopping at City of Roatan, Belize and Cozemel. We are mostly interested in non "touristy" places and LOVE food, loI. I love all of your videos and watch them crazy. I even have my boyfriend watching them now. Thanks!!

  4. We've done Alaska 3 times so far and number 4 is booked in 2018. On two of the trips, Ketchikan was over 80 degrees!, Next day, next port… 50. You never know. Haven't done a cruise tour yet, but is on the bucket list.

Favorite port? Skagway. Just so quaint. Finally took the White Pass and Yukon railway. We opted for taking a bus that paralleled the train into Canada, then took the train back. A bit more expensive but you had great views of the train from the other side of the valley.

Favorite glacier viewing? South Sawyer Glacier (Tracy Arm Fjord). You enter through a narrow passage and meander through sheer mountain walls and a multitude of waterfalls, then BAM! South Sawyer Glacier. Got some great photos.

  5. 2 Week Alaska cruise on HAL available for $1450, obstructed OV, in 2018. Almost booked it, but we want to do a cruise tour first. For Christmas, we did a timeshare presentation with Diamond Resorts in Sedona, AZ. Yay, they sold me when they said that for 16K, and 1K a year in maintenance fees, I could redeem all their timeshare points for $450 off a cruise annually. I actually declined a "free cruise" for taking the presentation, knowing it was a scam, and instead chose 2 additional free nights at any of their locations, for later. Also a scam! Oh well, at least we stayed there for free.

  6. Hi Sheri,
Thanks so much for your videos. I find them so interesting and helpful!
I just wanted to check that I've understood the amazon store properly… if we buy something that's not in your marketplace but search for it from your marketplace then you still get a kickback? The reason I ask is because I'd love to buy some of the Shacke packing cubes but I'm after colours other than black.
    Thanks for your help 🙂
P.S I was lucky enough to get a family cruise for Christmas! We're going on a 4 night cruise in May!!!

  7. Nothing that Santa gave me but I did just order a bunch of travel bottles to do 3-1-1 kits for different lengths of travel. Setting up pre made kits to just grab n go.

  8. we'd  love to hear what you got from Santa?  in Alaska in September  do they have any dog sleding or ice fishing if so do you think Robert will like that?

when you pay to get your laundry done  do you have to have cash or do you have to use your room key?

I guess what deck is the best depends upon the person.  if the person wants to go to bed at 10:00 pm  then getting  a room near the dance floor is a horrible idea,  if  the person isn't a partier then staying near the clubs isn't  a good idea,  if the person likes to eat a lot  and go down to the buffet for late night ice cream  I  would think the lido deck would be a ideal.

if the person likes to drink and dance  and stay up till 1 am  then the dance club is a good idea  I  would say it depends upon the what the person likes?

  9. Hi Sheri, I got some neat things for my upcoming Cruise. I got Luggage Tag Holders. I do have a question about the ship time on the Carnival Imagination. Is there ship time in the same time zone as California.

  10. I enjoy your videos. I received as a Christmas gift a t-shirt that says: Keep Calm and Cruise On Carnival. The word carnival was smaller then the other words and on it's own line. It had a picture of a carnival ship above the words.

  12. Thanks for you reply, will be looking for the other Alaska videos. Going from 100 degree Texas to cold wet Alaska is going to be refreshing! Still deciding on the excursions. We are sailing out of Seattle, and planning to get there a couple days early, I do not like to arrive day of cruise, just in case of flight delays!

  13. Hi again, Sheri,

Having travelled a couple of times on NCL, I just want to confirm for you that NCL does not have public laundromats as Princess does. You can, however, leave a bag of laundry for the cabin assistant to collect. The cost if I remember correctly depends on how much of it there is, but for me and my wife, we paid around $US35. Hope this helps.

  14. Hi again Sheri,

You wanted to know if we received any cruise related gifts from Santa this year. Yes, we did. Cheryl and I each received special passport holders and headphones for air travel. Being the economizing travellers, we bought ourselves a new carry on and back pack which hopefully will make our travelling between airports, ships and trains, so much easier.

Our next cruise starting 22nd January 2017 is a 7 dayer from Fort Lauderdale to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Falmouth, Jamaica and Celebrity's Cococay island.

Merry Christmas and we hope you will have a wonderful year ahead in 2017. Keep up the good work you and your husband are doing.

  15. My husband got a GoPro Hero 5 from Santa! We will likely be cruising on the Carnival Vista in November 2017. This cruise will go to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Mexico. Sherri, do you have any tips for cruising in November? We have only cruised in the summer. Thank you so much, your videos are so great! Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year.

  16. Santa brought tickets for an Alaskan cruise, my passport and both of us AAA membership. I couldn't believe some of the awesome perks they offer for cruising, one line offers members a free spa treatment! Love your channel, keep up the amazing work!

  17. something you may want to add to your marketplace would be a decent waterproof Bluetooth speaker…. I'm planning on getting one for our trips 🙂 maybe travel sized curling iron and flattening iron would be great as well!

  19. Can you please tell me if the balcony rooms on the Emerald Princess are big enough for three beds I just left a comment stating that I was going with two of my girlfriends and we're staying in the same room we're staying on the aloha deck room 388 A I can't find any pictures of that room. They told us they had a pull down bed which I saw in your video but they are bringing in a cot. Will there be enough room with three ladies and all our luggage. My email is charlottedarns1@gmail.com if you want to email me privately I appreciate all the information you give thank you so much. Charlotte

I got a fire pit, a Bluetooth headset to use with my phone, a grocery store gift card and last but not least a Carnival gift card. We will use it on our next cruise in September !
