  1. Great suggestions and so timely! We have recently started reading a junior fiction series by Frank Peretti, The Copper Kids Adventure series. There are 8 books, which I'm able to find through our library. First one is called Door to the Dragon's Throat (I believe). We're doing these as read alouds and then joining up with a couple other families for a book club of sorts, once we finish the book. They are adventurous with spiritual, biblical themes. My kids are 13, 11 (girls), and almost 9 (boy).

  2. I live in MN and it's been 40 below windchill for the past week or so. We go for long periods without the sun here too and this year I decided to take charge of my mental health by greatly increasing supplements and getting some me time in 😀
