Hi guys! I have been watching your videos for about 2 years. So it tells you right here that I like your work.. 👏👏👏 Even though I have lived in Prague many many moons ago, many times you came up with things that were new to me and quite interesting. If I recall your numerous tips for visitors you covered almost everything: $$ exchange, food, taxis ✌, various scams, etc etc. .. But I have one particular topic/question that I think never appeared in any of your vids (?): SIM cards for visitors' mobiles, what do telecom companies offer to foreigners coming to CR resp.
I bought my 1st SIM card quite a few years ago at PRG. It came with a small number of minutes (I think 200) for local calls and rather small data package (1 GB). Relatively pricey (I think it was 1000 CK) for what they offered. Do you have any tips?
Navigation takes quite at bite …and local phone call minutes also disappear fast. I think I used up that Voice+Interent bundle in less than a week and I stayed for 2 weeks …..
I know this is not a sexy topic for a video.. so if you cannot cover it .. NP…Keep up the good work & Good Luck & thanks..
PS. Yeah, in this case I have not found any difference in calling Telco companies Cust. Service directly or trying to buy in some local shops in Prague or elsewhere…
Hey. I am goin to prauge soon with my class. And I just wanted to hear if anyone have any ideas what to do in prauge. We Are in the age of 15 and 17
I have spent a lot of time in the playground at Ortenovo náměstí with my grandsons as they lived on Komunardů
We traveled to Prague on our honeymoon and would love to bring our two small kiddos back soon to explore!
Nice! Another for the young and the young-at-heart. Love your videos as always.
Have been to a lot of places you featured in this channel and every visit is memorable. I notuced when i visited them again is the RESPECT sticker posted like at the wall in the small Čertovka bridge to the Lennon Wall. Politely reminding the tourists no vandalisms and no love locks. Love it.
I would love to have your recommendation for Any museum that might interest kids Or a discovery and sciences city. Moreover, for Prague as the city of many music composers, any special places for kids in this concern? Thank you.
I would like to add smthg about the games, it might be about the doors on the way up to the castle.
I love your content and I love what you do. But you have fallen for the VPN scam too like everyone else, but thanks for what you do
I've been in Prague and have done 90% of the things in the video without seeing the video before. I'm so proud
By the way, the best attraction with the water is located near Malostranska station where you can do exactly the same things as Janek in this video
Could you do a video on vegetarian and/or vegan travel to Prague?
1:23 Pretty sure that is the seesaw, the swing is the one hanging on ropes or chains.
Film museum is defenately kid-friendly, intresting and fun !
Any beer gardens with playgrounds? They’re common in Munich and I was hoping Prague had them as well. Also, any kinderbier?
A map with more playgrounds. https://mapcomplete.osm.be/playgrounds?z=16&lat=50.08414&lon=14.41955
This is part of the Open Street Map project and anyone can add details to the playgrounds on Map Complete or even more on the Open Street Map website.
We were (again) in Prague a week ago and one of our "must visits" is the Stefanik Observatory on Petrin. Just go to the top of the hill by funicular and go left, instead of right to the Petrin tower. Only a few meters and you can visit the observatory – at day to see the sun or by night to watch planets, stars or the moon in one of the two telescopes. And ever touched a real meteorit? Just amazing, and of course the exhibition is in english, too.
My biggest worry is that driving a stroller on cobblestone will be too hard. Can you comment on this @honestguide?
Candy by weight is in every Swedish grocery store and the price is €0,8-€1/hg.
Lékorky looks like liquorice allsorts, is it the same?
Not sure if the Honest Guides will read this, but do they know there's an "unofficial channel" now? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbv3cLO3scfUYrFAm3UE-IA
At least it is being mentioned that they are not the official Honest Guide channel, that they only reupload content for everyone to enjoy, and that they don't make any profit from these videos, but I can imagine Janek and Honza being somewhat uncomfortable about this.
like the low prices for a sandwich 1/5 of the price in Sweden
i went to prague 2 years ago thanks to yanek. we really loved all those places. the kids also loved the other cablecar (to the hotel) and we rented a boat on the river. also riding the tram was a ton of fun for the kids.
Žofín has a decent playground and a small train kids can ride. I'd also recommend the Museum of Public Transport near the castle.
great timing, Honza and Janek. We are coming to Praha on Friday for the weekend. I will take my 3 kids to wander around, while the wife is at a softball tournament. So now I will be the awesome dad who knows all the cool things for the kids to do instead of doing just what daddy wants to do. Thanks
great video!! my toddler loves playground, we will check this out once we visit Prague.. btw, is it stroller-friendly there? like going to the top hill, etc?
Can you make a video on learning to speak Czech if you are planning to visit once the world opens up ?
6:50 The name is spelt "David Černý" or "Cerny" in some English texts, in case any non-czech speaker wanted to know. He also made the famous Franz Kafka sculpture.
Do children in Prague like Spejbl and Hurvinek?
PANR has tuned in.
Europe is the best blend for measurement. They use grams as well as pounds.
Wanna know what to do with children? Child labor
I've been in Prague two times with my doughter. Never boring
On my FB timeline today: photos I took in Skautský institut, three years ago.
Also today: Janek & Honza go to Skautský institut. 😀
Great 👍 thank you
My son loved to see the pissing statues at the Kafka Museum
